Qyren watches your economy continuously and emails you when something needs attention. We try hard not to cry wolf — you should expect a couple of alerts a month on a healthy game, not a couple a day.

Alert severities

  • Info (blue). Worth knowing, no urgency. Example: “New top-spending player this week.”
  • Warning (yellow). Action recommended within 2–4 weeks. Example: “Gold sink-to-source ratio dropped to 0.95.”
  • Critical (red). Action recommended within 48 hours. Example: “Inflation rate exceeded 10%/month for 3 consecutive days.”

Built-in alerts

How to action an alert

Every alert email contains:
  1. What happened (the metric and the threshold it crossed).
  2. Probable causes (usually 2–3, ranked by likelihood based on your recent activity).
  3. Suggested actions (concrete, not vague).
  4. A link to the relevant dashboard page with the data pre-filtered to the time window of the alert.
If the suggested action requires a code/content change on your side, we estimate the expected impact (e.g. “adding a 2,000-gold repair cost should move the ratio from 0.85 to ~1.15 within 7 days”).

Muting and routing

In dashboard settings:
  • Mute any alert type for a window (up to 30 days). Useful during known events.
  • Route warnings to one email address and criticals to another (e.g. community manager vs. on-call engineer).
  • Slack webhook. Send alerts to a Slack channel instead of email.

What we do not alert on

We deliberately don’t alert on:
  • Hourly revenue swings. Too noisy.
  • Individual player behavior. That’s for player support, not economy health.
  • A/B test winners. You should be checking those on your schedule, not ours.
If you find yourself wanting an alert we don’t offer, email [email protected] — most of our alerts started as studio requests.
