A Qyren invoice has at most four line items. Here’s what each one means.

1. Base plan fee

Flat monthly charge for your tier. Starter: $0. Growth: $499. Founding Growth: $249. Scale: as contracted. This covers the platform itself — dashboard access, ingestion, economy health, alerts, recommendations API.

2. Lift fee

A percentage of the incremental revenue Qyren generated this period, measured against your 10% holdout. The invoice shows the full math:
You can reproduce every one of these numbers from the CSV export in the Billing dashboard. See Lift Calculation for the full definition. If lift is zero or negative this period, the line reads Lift fee: $0.00 and is followed by a short note explaining why (e.g. “negative lift this period; no charge”).

3. MAU overage (rare)

Only appears if you exceeded your plan’s MAU ceiling. Billed per 10,000 MAU over the ceiling at the per-increment rate specified in your contract. The dashboard warns you at 80% of the ceiling so this is almost always avoidable by upgrading.

4. One-time items

Any one-off charges you agreed to — migration assistance, custom dashboard build, etc. Each is itemized with a description and the date it was agreed.

Taxes

Shown separately at the bottom. Determined by your studio’s billing address. US studios typically see $0 (Qyren is not currently required to collect sales tax in most US states); non-US studios may see VAT/GST per local rules.

Payment

  • Invoices are issued on the 1st of each month for the previous month.
  • Net 15: due 15 days after the invoice date.
  • Payment methods: ACH/SEPA (preferred), wire, or credit card. Card adds a 2.9% surcharge for amounts over $500.

Disputes

If a number on your invoice looks wrong, reply to the invoice email with what you think it should be. We’ll reconcile within 3 business days. Any agreed correction is applied as a credit on the next invoice — we don’t re-issue invoices retroactively.
